I’m going into my third year here at Chartiers Bend! It was a difficult decision to sell my house after my husband passed away, but now I feel very much at home here! I feel safe for I am no longer alone, and the staff has helped me on more than one occasion! Help is just a call away 24/7! I love the friends I’ve made here, and look forward to getting acquainted with the new people who have moved in! The managers and staff are wonderful, as well as accessible. The activities are ample, as well as fun! The kitchen staff goes out of their way to provide meals, and often special event and holiday meals! The concierge personnel are always willing to help in any way that they can! Maintenance on servicing any needs has been very prompt at correcting any issues! I’ve used the transportation offered here for doctor appointments, as well as shopping…that’s a nice perc! The building is beautiful, and the grounds are well maintained! Overall there are so many amenities within the building to enjoy! I’m at home…living my best life! Thanks to all from the caring staff and other residents for helping me transition …you are an integral part of my family! You are loved!❤️

My mother has lived at Chartiers Bend for almost 5 years. She enjoys a lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a deck. Transportation is available to doctors’ appointments 3 days per week. Shopping trips are regularly scheduled to various stores. Other ventures include restaurants and cultural events. Entertainment and other in-house activities keep the residents busy providing lots of fun and social interaction opportunities. The staff is warm and attentive. It’s been a perfect place for her!

Chartiers Bend is an excellent place to live. The managers are warm and friendly. They try to answer and meet our needs. Our concierge, Sylvia was immediately there when I fell on my face. Called an ambulance, gave me ice for my face and made sure I was O. K. She took good care of me until the ambulance arrived. SHe also helped me to fix the problem I was having with my computer. We have wonderful opportunities to participate in games, volleyball, scrabble, bingo and many more. We are so fortunate to have people who take loving care of our community.

I have lived in Chartiers Bend for over 4 years and love it here. It’s a kind and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and pleasant and the concierge greets you with a smile as you enter the building. They are always available to help you in all ways. The dining room is bright and welcoming with an abundance of food choices including a hot bar, plentiful soup and salad bar, and a Chef’s Pantry loaded with, sandwiches, chips, desserts, and beverages. The many activities are open to all. We enjoy the theater with movies and live entertainment. We also have a van that takes us to doctor visits, shopping, and a monthly restaurant visit. We always welcome new arrivals so I hope you join us.

I have delighted in CHARTIERS BEND ever since the first day I arrived. Our managers and our concierge are exceptionally knowledgeable and eager to please. I would recommend Chartiers Bend Retirement Resort to others. The staff is amazing. The move-in process was just as easy as a regular apartment. For Independent Living, it's exactly what I expect. Housekeeping is light duty and is once a week. The meals are good quality. According to Dad, a little institutional, but there is always something available. The only complaint Dad has is that they don't have a lot of things that he likes. There are plenty of activities. The managers are amazing. She gave me her cell phone number in case I have any questions or concerns. I would recommend this facility to someone looking for an Independent Living situation.

I toured Chartiers Bend several times with Ms. Tiffany Miles. I was hoping to convince my father-in-law to move into an apartment there. I can’t say enough about Ms. Miles and her enthusiasm, knowledge, patience and flexibility. She went well beyond my expectations and continued to amaze me with her willingness to accommodate my father-in-law. I’m certain she stayed well beyond her working hours when I went for a tour on my own and then again when I returned with my father-in-law and his son. I will tell you that she is a valuable asset to your facility. Even her follow-up calls were very helpful. Although we have been unsuccessful in convincing my father-in-law to move, it is only because of his reluctance to leave his own home. We are still hopeful that he will change his mind in the future. Chartiers Bend is the perfect option for independent living and everyone was very friendly there. The food was also delicious!! I would absolutely recommend your facility for anyone interested in living in a beautiful location with so many amenities to make life easier and less stressful!!

The facility is really beautiful! The staff is very helpful and the residents are super friendly. Mom has found a lot of friends and activities. She always seems to be going to a party or a trip into the community. And they make independent living really easy. I could add the person who cleans her apartment every week is super helpful! And the Activities Director is always willing to try new things. Because they're month by month and the move-in process was so easy, we can get Mom settled right away. Everything there was just much more Luxe than in other places, the availability of food the really beautiful artwork, and the very large apartments with full kitchens and washers and dryers. You get a lot for your money.

I visit a client there and he is so happy. Their meals are always delicious. He brings his back to his room and eats. They have a washer and dryer in the apartment. They are beautifully decorated. Everything is handy. The buses take him everywhere he wants to go no need for a car. He loves it.

I would definitely recommend Chartiers Bend Retirement Resort. Mom made a somewhat rush decision, but chose a great community! The staff is always fantastic. The meals are ok, mom chooses to only eat one meal a day there, but no complaints from her on the food. The facility is so clean, beautiful, and smells good. The residents are lovely also. Mom is still getting settled in, so she hasn't participated in the activities yet, but there are a wide variety to choose from.
